Brief Biography

Terry Jenson was first elected as the MLA for Martensville-Warman in the 2020 provincial election and was re-elected in 2024 in the constituency of Warman.

Since being elected, he has been a member of Standing Committees: Human Services (also served as Chair), Crown and Central Agencies, and the Economy. He also served as the Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Social Services and as Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Immigration and Career Training. He first entered Cabinet in May of 2024 as Minister of SaskBuilds and Procurement, and Minister responsible for the Global Transportation Hub Authority and Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan.

Terry currently serves as Minister of Social Services and Minister Responsible for the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation.

Together with his wife Angela, Terry owned the Clark’s Crossing Gazette, a community newspaper covering the Martensville-Warman area, from its establishment in 2008 and was a small business owner-operator for nearly 29 years. He is the past-president of the Saskatchewan Weekly Newspapers Association (SWNA) and past-president of Ad Canada Media Inc. Prior to his 26 years in the community newspaper industry, Terry worked on-the-air at radio stations in North Battleford and Prince Albert.

In addition to his professional life, Terry is a former Kinsmen Club member, a retired Saskatchewan Hockey Association referee, an auxiliary constable with the RCMP, and he holds a private pilot’s license. In the winter months Terry volunteered as a coach for his son’s minor hockey teams and is a proud “cheerleading dad” for his daughter. In the summer months, he plays golf and spends time fishing and boating at the family cabin.

Terry and Angela have two children and have proudly called Warman home for the last 19 years.
